Hi Mar -

Good on you for your undying pursuit to help out the Filipinos' right to more affordable medicines. It's tragic how in the Philippines, some people would just die not because their illness is highly incurable but purely because they could not afford the cost of medicines or it's just too expensive to engage the services of doctors.

We of course know that this is big business vs the Filipino masses. How ironic it is that these pharmaceutical companies who are supposed to be helping the sick are in fact pushing them to their graves. Just because of sheer greed, they have forgotten their foremost objective of bringing the sick to life. Of course they would argue that their business have to make commercial sense to keep operating. However, I would say that they have milked our countrymen for so long already that they need to share some of those commercial profits to the millions of sick Filipinos.

honorable,

But I believe this is an important issue right now. It is just unfortunate that while you guys try to lower the cost of medicine, the present trend now in pharmacies, getting the most that they can get out of their customers...kung hindi kulang ang sukli, candy ang ibibigay...payag na sana ako sa candy kaya lang hindi tinatanggap ng jeepney driver ang candy as pamasahe, kaya talagang lugi!!!!
