Roxas warns commission against CAP permit renewal

Senator Manuel Roxas II yesterday cautioned the Securities and Exchange Commission against renewing the license of College Assurance Plan to sell preneed plans. Roxas issued the warning following reports that Makati Regional Trial Court Judge Cesar Untalan asked SEC to consider renewing CAP’s license, which has been suspended since 2004 after it ran into financial problems. I hope you become president. Drop Korina Sanchez though cause she's definitely NOT going to be first lady.

To: Hon. Senator Mar Roxas

I haven't receive any news on the CAP scandal for years now.

Do you have any court rulings against the CEO of CAP ala ENRON's CEO in US?

We have invested our life savings to the future education of our children.

What would happen to them now?

We believed that our money was in TRUST FUND as stipulated in CAP contract.

Please update us on any court rulings against CAP CEO.

Thank you very much.
